Greatest Philosophers

If you’ve ever felt bad for not understanding all of life’s complexities, here’s some good news for you:

The greatest philosophers in the world today (and the greatest thinkers of the last millennia) have not figured it all out.

They haven’t sewed it all up with bow, gotten all their ducks to line up, or had certain answers to the mysteries of life. Therefore,
you’re not alone in your befuddlement. The most superlative minds among
us are just as stumped as we are about how the world works.

That said,
should you really expect to have all the answers yourself?
(Do you, nonetheless?)
Despite my inclination to figure it all out, I know that I won’t. I find some comfort in knowing that.
This week’s spiritual-religious advice:it’s OK to be puzzled by life.

With love,

Rabbi Brian

The 77% Weekly

The 77% Weekly: The Religion-Outside-The-Box Newsletter
helps people find and be with (the) God (of their understanding) 40 out of 52 weeks a year.

Why 77%?
Two reasons:
1) 40/52 = 0.76923. The newsletter is sent every Monday except the last of each month.
2) In school 77% was a passing grade and ROTB is delighted to remind you that life isn’t graded.

Religion-Outside-The-Box is a donation-supported,
non-denominational, internet-based, 501c3-tax exempt religious congregation.
