    Downside to faith?

This week I just have a simple, yet earth-shattering question:

What is the downside of having faith that things will work out in the end and letting go of your expectations?

(Perhaps a lessening of your sense of self-importance? Perhaps something else? Whatever it is, it behooves you to think about the answer.)

Spiritual-religious advice for the week: have a little more faith, what can it hurt?
