Less than ½ of 1% more.

Water at 211 degrees is still water.  Water at 211½ degrees is still water.

But, add just one half of one degree more and it boils and becomes steam.

That tiny amount of change powered the steam engines that revolutionized the
world. (Steam is still vitally important today, nuclear powered ships
run off the steam produced from the reactors.)

One half of one extra degree changed so many things.

What in your life can you give one more degree of effort and thereby revolutionize your world?

Spiritual-religious advice for the week: give one degree more effort to something worthwhile in your life.

(Special thanks to Nagy who pointed this concept out to me.)

With love,

Rabbi Brian

The 77% Weekly

The 77% Weekly: The Religion-Outside-The-Box Newsletter
helps people find and be with (the) God (of their understanding) 40 out of 52 weeks a year.

Why 77%?
Two reasons:
1) 40/52 = 0.76923. The newsletter is sent every Monday except the last of each month.
2) In school 77% was a passing grade and ROTB is delighted to remind you that life isn’t graded.

Religion-Outside-The-Box is a donation-supported,
non-denominational, internet-based, 501c3-tax exempt religious congregation.

A Big Ask

Beloved, What I’m about to ask is a very big ask. You (probably) aren’t going to want to do it. But I’m still going to ask. Because it’s important. Very important. Stop hating.   ✧✧✧   “No one is born hating another person… People must learn to hate, and if they can learn to hate, they can be taught to
