Ever Loved Something So Much, You Wanted to Share it with Others?

I’d like you to take a moment and think about the stores, restaurants, musicians, television shows, or other things you absolutely adore in life. Think about a few of the things that give you tremendous enjoyment or pleasure.

For example, reflect on your favorite restaurant, a place you love visiting, or your favorite outdoor area.

Have you ever told friends and family about this wonderful place, so that they might be able to experience it, too?

Think of a musical band or group that awes you. Have you ever gone out of your way to tell people about the band, even those who didn’t know you personally? This can be something as simple as wearing a pin or putting a bumper sticker on your car.

If you said yes to any of these questions, then you understand what it’s like to be genuinely enthusiastic about something you love.

So, can you really get upset when someone who loves their religion wants to wear a sign of it on their neck or comes to your door and tell you about it?

Should you get angry if someone who loves their relationship with (the) God (of their understanding) loves it so much, that they’re willing to put a bumper sticker on the back of their car, telling the world about it?

I find that a lot of people tend to get “offended” when someone shares their religious belief.  I wonder what makes this topic so categorially different? 

Sometimes we love things so much, we can’t help ourselves from sharing them. If something is truly wonderful (in our minds), it’s our natural inclination to pass it on to others so they can experience it, too.
