More and more, I have found myself writing, talking, and advocating compassion.
While, no one argues with the prescription, there are questions about how to do it.
The response I give it this: “It is called a practice because no one knows how to do it well.” See if you can’t cultivate more compassion in your life – both for yourself and for others.
This fits with the previous message about habit and familiarity. The only way to get more compassion in your life is by doing it.
Spiritual-religious advice:
Practice compassion.
With love,

Stuff Gets To Me
✧✧✧ As I pack up to leave after my workout, someone asks me, “Hey, Rabbi, how are things going?” I’m not one for small talk. Especially after being called by my title. “Well,” I reply. “I’m sad.” “Why?” “I’m thinking about the girls who went to school in the morning in Minab, Iran—over a hundred of them—killed by a bomb.”
